Abhyaas Prelims
The UPSC Prelims Examination is a
critical initial step in the Civil Services examination process. To aid in this phase, Vision IAS conducts the Abhyaas Prelims in over 100+ cities
nationwide. This test is tailored to enhance aspirants' skills in objective thinking
and reasoning, which are essential for the exam. Participating in such tests provides
aspirants with a clear perspective of the national competition, enabling them to refine
their preparation strategies more effectively.
Abhyaas Prelims is designed to give the
aspirants the real feel of the examination to help them gain confidence before attempting
the UPSC Prelims Examination. The aspirants will be provided with constructive feedback and
accordingly, corrective measures will be suggested to improve their objective thinking and
reasoning skills.
How will it be conducted?
The UPSC Prelims examination consists
of 2 papers, i.e., Paper I (GS) and Paper II (CSAT). Both the papers, Abhyaas Paper I (GS)
and Abhyaas Paper II (CSAT) will be conducted on the following dates – 6th April, 27th April
& 11th May in the respective examination centers in 100+ cities
across the country.

Journey of Abhyaas
Abhyaas commenced its journey in 2019, initially reaching 45 cities for
prelims and 30 cities for mains. This was driven by the vision of making high-quality
mock tests accessible to every UPSC aspirant. In 2020, as
COVID-19 impacted the world, UPSC aspirants also felt its impact.During these
challenging times, Abhyaas enabled aspirants to practice prelims mock tests conveniently
from their homes.

By 2021, the Abhyaas
mains resumed, implementing strict precautionary measures for the safety of
the aspirants. In Post-CoVID period, VisionIAS
conducted Abhyaas successfully both prelims and mains in offline
mode continuously in 2022 and 2023. Over the course of five years, Abhyaas
has evolved into a remarkable phenomenon, expanding its reach to over 170
cities during prelims and 45 cities during mains. Its influence now spans
the length and breadth of India, from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh and from
Ladakh to Kerala.
About
Abhyaas Mains
It is said that while Content is the
King for UPSC Mains Examination, Answer Writing is the Queen i.e., the most powerful element
for succeeding in the exam. Vision IAS, keeping this in mind, is conducting Abhyaas Mains in 40+ cities across the country. This
test is designed to help aspirants analyse and improve their answer writing skills in this
exam.
While planning to attempt any national
level competitive exam, the preparation is considered to be complete when an aspirant gets
an idea about the competition in the country. Thus, it is important to attempt such tests so
that the aspirants can make their strategy more effective. Abhyaas Mains is designed to give
the aspirants the real feel of the exam to help them gain
confidence before attempting the UPSC Mains Examination.
How will it be conducted?
It will have 7 papers, i.e., GS I, II,
III, IV, Essay, Optional 1 & Optional 2 will be conducted on 24, 25, 31 August and 1
September in the respective examination centers in 40+ cities
across the country. GS Papers I & II will be conducted on 24 August and Papers III &
IV will be conducted on 25 August. The Essay Paper will be conducted on 31 August and
Optional Paper 1 & 2 will be conducted on 1 September.
